A family in Beauval that’s recently had to cope with the murders of two family members is hoping police have nabbed one of the killers.

Saskatoon Police have charged a man with second-degree murder following their investigation of the homicide of John Roy.

The suspect was arrested yesterday, and will make a court appearance today.

Roy was stabbed to death in his Saskatoon residence almost two weeks ago.

Roy’s death came on the heels of the death of 17-year-old cousin Philip Albert Roy, who was beaten to death in a Saskatoon back alley.

Police have yet to make arrests in that case.
