Prince Albert RCMP are continuing their investigation after a man went missing last month.
Troy Cecil Napope was last seen in Prince Albert on May 28 and on that same morning RCMP investigated a burnt out car on Whitfield Road north of Highway 3.
The RCMP say the burned out vehicle and the missing person file are believed to be related.
An RCMP spokesperson couldn’t go into specific details as to why they believe the two events are related or the nature of Napope’s disappearance.
The vehicle is described as a grey, four-door 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix.
Police are now seeking the public’s help with any information about this vehicle on the evening of May 27 and the morning of May 28.
They are also asking for any information on suspicious activity in the area at the time.
Anyone with information on these two events is asked to call the Prince Albert RCMP Detachment at 1-306-765-5500 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
