The RCMP says a peace officer was assaulted with a weapon by four men in the Onion Lake area on Friday.
That charge comes in a long list for the four men – including uttering threats, fleeing from police, impaired driving, dangerous driving, and resisting arrest.
Police were called to a possible hostage situation related to threats made in Onion Lake on Friday, and when they arrived the suspects gave chase in a vehicle.
The pursuit ended in the Rural Municipality of Frenchman Butte, and four men were taken into police custody.
Despite the charges, the RCMP says no one was hurt.
Curtis Littlewolfe, 25, Joel Fox, 21, and Elijah Dillon, 24, were released from custody on Monday on an undertaking.
Garth Swiftwolfe, 18, is still in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday in Onion Lake.
All four of the men are charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a peace officer.
Additionally, Swiftwolfe is charged with uttering threats, public mischief, and breaches.
Dillon faces charges of impaired driving and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
RCMP members from Onion Lake, Turtleford, St. Walburg, Maidstone, Lloydminster, and North Battleford Police Dog Service attended to assist with the investigation.
The three men who have been released are scheduled to return to court on Sept. 16.
