Another woman has been charged in relation to a death on Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation. 

Police say that at around 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Wollaston Lake RCMP received a call that someone had been seriously injured at a residence on the First Nation. 

Mounties said the investigation determined that an altercation occurred between a group of individuals. As a result of the altercation, an adult male was seriously injured and was later declared deceased at a local clinic. 

He has been identified as 42-year-old Christopher Joseyounen from Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation. 

One woman was arrested at the scene, and on Sunday, officers arrested a second woman in relation to the incident. 

36-year-old Tricia St. Pierre and 18-year-old Tinnisha Josie, who are mother and daughter, are each charged with one count of second-degree murder. 

In a media release sent out this morning, police stated that 37-year-old Jean St. Pierre of Wollaston Lake was also arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder. 

The three women made their first court appearances in Wollaston Lake yesterday.
