News Reporter / Anchor
Prince Albert, SK
Chelsea joined the MBC team in July, 2015.
She has a bachelor of arts in journalism, and plans to use it well. Chelsea has been working in radio since the fall of 2012 and hasn’t looked back.
She’s passionate about sharing the voices of Saskatchewan’s aboriginal people, thought-provoking pieces, and the use of sound in storytelling. A piece she did that aired on Meeting Ground, a weekly aboriginal radio program, was nominated for an RTDNA regional award.
Always the indecisive one, Chelsea’s unable to pick a favourite when it comes to journalism. So you can keep an eye out for tweets including video, photos, and in-depth online stories.
She hails from Guernsey, Saskatchewan, a quaint mining town in central Saskatchewan and has lived in and loved Prince Albert since the summer of 2013. Don’t be surprised if you find her occasionally roaming farther north, since she’s a big fan of northern Saskatchewan culture, people, and landscapes.
