The completion of the La Ronge Integrated Land Use Management plan was marked Thursday at a ceremony in La Ronge at the Legion Hall.
Land-use planner for Saskatchewan Environment Dwayne Rinholm says the new deal involves government, community members, and the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
He says the plan provides a framework for solving differences between residents in and around La Ronge and Air Ronge.
Rinholm says some of the conflicts in the area centred on wildlife management, environmental quality and urban sprawl.
He adds the agreement is not static either, meaning it will change with the times to remain current and necessary to all concerned.
