The senior operations manager of the Gold Eagle Casino had a great ending to his week on Friday.

Roger Anderson received the first-ever Battlefords Tourism Employee Training award.

The award is presented to employers who show a strong commitment to training and excellence.

Since it opened, the casino has given 144 employees Best Customer Service training.

The casino is the largest single tourism attraction in the Battlefords.

Battlefords Tourism Chairman Donna Challis says the gaming centre has very high training standards for its workers.
