Wreckage from a recent plane crash near La Ronge has been sent to Winnipeg for further study.
Dave Ross, a manager with the air investigations unit of the Transportation Safety Board, says propellers and an engine are now undergoing a detailed analysis.
It was just ten days ago that a sudden crash of a government water bomber took the life of 54-year-old La Ronge resident Andy Clark and injured two other men.
Ross says investigators have concluded their work in La Ronge, and the focus now shifts to determining what exactly happened.
He adds it could be 12 to 14 months before the investigation wraps up.
