A Battleford courtroom heard further testimony this morning in the trial of a Big Island Lake First Nation woman accused of manslaughter.
22-year-old Lynette Sandfly is charged in connection with the death of 22-year-old Edwin Dufraine.
Dufraine died from stab wounds suffered during a long drinking party at a house in November, 2006.
Defence lawyer George Combe of Saskatoon says his client acted in self-defence.
A taped interview between a police officer and Sandfly was played in court this morning.
Sandfly told the officer she and Dufraine got into a fight.
She then grabbed a knife as he dragged her to a door.
Testimony continues this afternoon.
