Body Discovered in North Saskatchewan River

Prince Albert Police have launched an investigation into Thursday’s discovery of a body in the North Saskatchewan River.
Police report they were called to an area just south of the Weyerhaeuser Mill following calls from the forestry company’s staff that a body had been seen in the river.
With the assistance of Prince Albert’s Fire Control services, the PA Police were able to recover the unidentified body.
An autopsy was scheduled for Friday (July 23) morning in Prince Albert.
No further details are available at this time as police continue to investigate.
