Body Of La Ronge Woman Found In Ditch

The RCMP are treating the discovery of a La Ronge woman in a ditch in southern Saskatchewan as “suspicious”.

The body of the unidentified 34-year-old woman was discovered by an officer with the Punnichy RCMP detachment at around 5:00 Saturday morning.

Her body was found along Highway 15 one kilometre east of the junction with Highway 6, between Quinton and Raymore.

The Mounties believe it’s possible that the woman was struck by a vehicle.

They’re asking anyone who may have seen anything Friday evening or early Saturday morning to contact police.
