Buffalo Narrows RCMP Seize $85,000 Worth Of Crack

The RCMP have seized approximately eight ounces of crack cocaine and over $1,500 cash after executing a search warrant at a residence in Buffalo Narrows.

According to police, the drugs have a street value of over $85,000.

A 47-year-old man from Buffalo Narrows was arrested and is currently in custody.

The unidentified suspect has been charged with possessing a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by the commission of an offence and breach of recognizance.

He will make his first court appearance in La Loche tomorrow.

The Mounties say the seizure of this amount of crack cocaine will have an impact on the drug trade in Buffalo Narrows.
