Deschambault Lake RCMP are turning to the public to help solve two crimes in the community –- including a horrific case of animal cruelty.
On July 22nd, RCMP officers found two dead dogs hanging from a tree behind a local residence.
The Mounties say the dogs did not belong to the homeowner.
Meanwhile, on or before July 15th, officers came across a vandalized Saskatchewan Highways water trailer that appeared to have several gun shot holes in it.
The trailer, which was parked on Highway 160, looked as if it were shot at by a high-powered rifle.
Anyone with information regarding these two crimes is urged to contact the Deschambault Lake RCMP or Crimestoppers immediately.
