The Liberal Party is planning to hold an annual general meeting next week for its constituency association in Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River.
Party members have been invited to attend the meeting on Saturday, November 15th in Prince Albert.
Saskatchewan Liberal Association executive director Robert Ermel says, among other agenda items, a new constituency executive will be elected at that meeting.
Many grassroots members wanted to see happen prior to the March by-election and last month’s general election.
But Ermel says he doesn’t expect “anything particularly contentious” to arise at the meeting.
Ermel says nominations will be accepted for someone to replace outgoing president Cheryl Maurice.
The party’s candidate in the northern Saskatchewan riding in the recent election, David Orchard, is expected to be present for the meeting.
