Drug Seizure in Ile-a-la-Crosse

A 20-year-old Edmonton man is making a court appearance in Buffalo Narrows today for allegedly trafficking marijuana in Ile-a-la-Crosse.

The man was arrested Sunday night in Ile-a-la-Crosse.

Following his arrest, the RCMP seized 1.5 pounds of marijuana and one thousand dollars in cash.

The suspect has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation.

The man’s name will be released once he’s made his first court appearance.

The Mounties say the investigation is continuing.
