Elderly Woman Dies In Single Vehicle Rollover

A 63 year old woman from Cumberland House is dead following a single vehicle roll over just North of Carrot River last night.

The woman was one of 5 occupants in a car which left the road and rolled just after 7 pm last night on Highway #123, approximately 30 kilometers North of Carrot River.

The deceased was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled. The 20 year old male driver and 3 other occupants were taken to hospital in Nipawin with undetermined injuries.

Carrot River RCMP are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident and the name of the deceased will not be released pending notification of next of kin.
