English River Election To Be Held In October

Four men are challenging the current Chief of the English River First Nation for his title in an election next month.

 

Voters on the First Nation go to the polls to elect new Chief and Counsel on October 19th.

 

Toby Aubichon is the current Chief for the band.

 

Archie Campbell, Lawrence McIntyre, Etienne Black and Russell Black are his opponents.

 

24 other people are running for the six councilors positions that are open as well.
