Entire Band Council Re-Elected To New Terms

Members of the Flying Dust First Nation apparently like the work being done by their chief and council.

Incumbent councillors Jim Norman, Marie Gladue, Bazil Bear and Richard Durocher emerged victorious from a field of nine candidates in yesterday’s band election.

They will all serve another two-year term alongside Chief Percy Derocher, who was re-elected by acclamation last month.

Canoe Lake and Waterhen Lake will also hold band elections this month.
