A 21-year-old female pedestrian was killed near Creighton early this morning when she was struck by a vehicle.

The RCMP say it happened between 2:00 and 3:00 this morning on Highway 167 on the Beaver Lake Road.

Spokesperson Sgt. Carole Raymond says they’ve identified the driver.

In fact, she says the driver was the person that took the victim to the Flin Flon hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

However, Raymond says the RCMP still need the public to help fill in some of the missing pieces in this investigation.

The Mounties say the victim was struck by a grey truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Creighton RCMP at (306) 688-8888 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
