FNUC Not Prepared To Appease AUCC At All Costs

The president of the First Nations University of Canada says he is doing everything possible to keep his school accredited as a nationally-recognized body.

 

However, Charles Pratt says the FNUC won’t sacrifice its principles to remain a part of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada.

 

He says he welcomes this week’s tour of his school by AUCC officials, who are visiting the FNUC’s northern campus in Prince Albert today.

 

The committee is investigating issues related to academic freedom and political interference.
