Former Northern Legal Aid Director Now A Judge

A former northern Saskatchewan legal aid lawyer is now a provincial court judge.

James Plemel has been working in the legal field for 30 years, including time spent as director of Northern Legal Aid in La Ronge.

Plemel also spent several years in public prosecutions, most recently as the Regional Crown Prosecutor for the Saskatoon office

Plemel, who was sworn in on Friday afternoon, will serve on the bench in Wynyard.
