Harrison Urging Klein to Finish Link to La Loche

The MP for Churchill River is hoping to convince his old boss to do northwest Saskatchewan a real favour.
Jeremy Harrison recently wrote a letter to Alberta Premier Ralph Klein asking his government to finish construction of the Garson Lake road project, which would create a link between Fort McMurray and La Loche.
Harrison says the issue is too important to wait on and that’s why he is speaking out.
A former employee of Klein’s, Harrison says he’s hoping his Tory stripes will win some favour with the Alberta leader.
Harrison adds the mayor of Fort McMurray is on board with the project, but he does worry some people in the town might not be.
Harrison says the matter must be brought to the forefront of Alberta’s political arena before it’s lost in the bureaucratic shuffle.
