New North is now on the hunt for a new Chief Executive Officer now that the current CEO decided to step down.
Al Loke says after six years with the northern municipal lobby group, a new opportunity has come up and it’s time to hand over the reins.
Loke says the new CEO for New North must meet specific criteria, and until a suitable replacement is found, he will work as an advisor to the organization.
Loke leaves as the longest-serving CEO in New North’s brief history.
New North, also known as the Saskatchewan Association of Northern Communities, consists of 35 northern municipalities and was first established in 1997.
