The first Aboriginal person to play in the NHL will be getting a visit from a hockey legend tomorrow.

Senator Frank Mahovlich, a former Habs and Leafs great, will be at the Ahtahkakoop First Nation to make a special presentation to Fred Sasakamoose.

Sasakamoose played with the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1953-54 season.

Mahovlich will be joined by fellow Liberal Senator Bob Peterson and northern Saskatchewan Liberal candidate Joan Beatty.

The delegation will spend the rest of the day in Ahtahkakoop and the Little Red River reserve, meeting with First Nations leaders and citizens.
