Man Charged In Naistus Murder

An Alberta man accused of killing a woman from Onion Lake will go on trial next fall.

41 year-old Gordon Dwight Hurley will go before a judge for a three week trial starting September 10th.

He faces one count of First Degree Murder for allegedly taking the life of Jarita Naistus.

Her body was found in a Lloydminster hotel room in October of 2005 by cleaning staff. She was 20 at the time of her death.
