About 100 Metis people showed up in Prince Albert over the weekend to voice their displeasure over this spring’s Metis Nation – Saskatchewan election.
Presidential candidates Alex Maurice and Robert Doucette were both present for the rally, which included representation from the cities of Regina, Saskatoon and North Battleford.
Green Lake resident Ric Richardson says he has many questions about the vote that still haven’t been answered, and he can’t understand why those in power are saying everyone should just move on.
Those attending the meeting also created a ten-member committee to help facilitate a new election.
