Missing Boaters On Lac La Ronge Found Safe

Searchers have successfully located two missing boaters on Lac La Ronge.

The RCMP say 75-year-old Gilbert Sanderson and 50-year-old Timothy Prutton left La Ronge Monday afternoon, en route to Hunter Bay.

They were reported missing when the men failed to check in yesterday.

However, the Mounties say the pair was located late this morning during an aerial search by members of the Civilian Air Search and Rescue Association.

It appears they went to shore to wait out a storm in the area.
