A forum on missing women will take place in Saskatoon tomorrow.
Premier Lorne Calvert is expected to attend, as well as relatives of various women in the province who have disappeared.
Rose Roberts is one of the people who decided to hold the event. She says the forum is open to everyone and designed to remind the general public that these missing women are not simply statistics — they are sisters, mothers and daughters.
The Native Women’s Association of Canada will also be represented at the event, as well as several elders.
It is taking place at the White Buffalo Youth Lodge.
