The Member of Parliament for Churchill River admits he’s already thinking ahead to next spring’s policy convention for his party.
Jeremy Harrison says the march jam session should be a prime opportunity for the Conservatives to silence critics who accuse them of having a secret agenda.
Harrison claims the Tories support treaty rights and Aboriginal self-government.
However, he acknowledges those policies weren’t well known in the last election and many people don’t believe the Conservatives.
Harrison says delegates from each riding association will be involved in the selection of issues for the convention, but he won’t be able to provide any input.
The meeting will take place in Montreal.
