Truckers, contractors, and co-management board members in northwest Saskatchewan will have the opportunity to voice concerns and gain information later this month about recent uncertainties and business conditions they’re facing.

Organizer Alex Maurice says he has received a lot of complaints from concerned members of the trucking industry in the northwest regarding the future of the business, amid uncertainties surrounding the closure of the Weyerhaeuser mill in Prince Albert.

Maurice says the meeting will be held at Beauval’s Arena Mezzanine on Sunday, November 20th, and it is open to the public.

He stresses the importance of a large turnout at the meeting to underline the seriousness of the issue and to show support for those who will lobby the government.
