It’s been exactly one year to the week since the Kelowna Accord was struck between Aboriginal groups and the Federal Government.

Today, a Liberal MP is calling on Ottawa to honor the deal.

Indian Affairs critic Anita Neville says the Tories inherited a 13 billion dollar surplus yet couldn’t find the money needed to implement the deal.

She also says she finds it ironic Stephen Harper is touring the globe speaking out on human rights issues while ignoring ones at home.
