Onion Lake Man Charged In Death Of Local Teen

A 20-year-old suspect in the murder of a teenager in Onion Lake is making his first court appearance today in Lloydminster.

Cassidy Stanley Lewis is facing a charge of second-degree murder in connection to the death of 16-year-old Keeley Winslow Crookedneck this past weekend.

According to the RCMP, Crookedneck died early Saturday morning.

The Mounties are not releasing the cause of Crookedneck’s death, but do say he was a victim of foul play.

An autopsy is taking place today.

The case is in the hands of major crimes investigators.
