Onion Lake Teen Hospitalized After Beating

Onion Lake RCMP are currently investigating the assault of a 16-year-old local boy.

Mounties say at approximately 2 a.m. Monday, the youth was walking in the community when he was approached by three young men.

The boy was attacked by at least two of them and required hospitalization.

The youth remains in hospital in Lloydminster with non-life threatening injuries.

The three unknown attackers are said to be of Aboriginal ancestry and in their late teens or early twenties.
