Around 70 sign waving marchers made their way through downtown Prince Albert today at a rally for addictions awareness.

The event was organized by the city’s metis addictions council. Director Andre Letendre says alcohol, drugs and gambling are all examples of things that can become problems for people if they’re not careful.

He says addicts often have trouble recognizing when they’re hooked. Letendre says strides are being made in the battle against these issues, but a lot of work still remains.
