PBCN Members Given First Nations Awards

The Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation was well-represented at a First Nations awards ceremony in Regina last week.
Two band members walked home with hardware for their contributions to the community.
Trudy Morin won the education award, while Herman Michel took home the honours for science and technology.
Other winners included Chief Austin Bear of Muskoday for his work with the community, and Ray Sanderson for his role as a war veteran at the Chakastaypasin First Nation.
The ceremony was hosted by the group Women of the Dawn.
