A deputy minister with Saskatchewan Environment says his department has not been hiding information from a forestry watchdog group.
Earlier this month, the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society said it had yet to see the third draft of a land use plan stretching from La Ronge to Key Lake.
The society wants to see the draft so it can launch an independent review of its own.
Deputy minister Alan Parkinson says the group will get that opportunity, but adds his department won’t release the draft until it’s fully ready.
Parkinson says the draft should be out in a few weeks’ time.
