RCMP Investigate Shoal Lake Homicide

A Shoal Lake First Nation man is in police custody, after another man was found dead on the reserve early this morning.

The deceased is a 24-year-old man, also from the Shoal Lake First Nation.

Police were called around 4 a.m., and determined the man’s death was the result of foul play.

A second victim is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No names have been released.

The RCMP, including the force’s Saskatoon major crimes unit, are continuing to investigate.
