RCMP Make Cocaine Bust in Ile-a-la-Crosse

Ile-a-la-Crosse RCMP have arrested and charged a local man with trafficking narcotics.

With the assistance of the Buffalo Narrows detachment, Mounties arrested a 41-year-old man last night.

The suspect was taken into custody in Ile-a-la-Crosse on an unrelated incident, but during a subsequent search, officers discovered a large quantity of cocaine.

The unidentified man is scheduled to appear in Buffalo Narrows Provincial Court today on a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
