A trial has been ordered in the case of an RCMP officer accused of sexual assault.
Constable Thierry Jacques was charged earlier this year after he allegedly committed the assault against a woman in La Ronge in the fall of 2004.
He was eventually re-assigned to Pierceland before receiving a suspension.
A trial date still has to be decided, but the proceedings will likely take place in Prince Albert.
