RCMP Probing Violent Death In Grandmother’s Bay

A 28-year-old man from Grandmother’s Bay is dead and another local resident is in custody following a violent assault early this morning.
RCMP Corporal Brian Jones says the Mounties got the call shortly before 5:00 am.
A 31-year-old Grandmother’s Bay man has been arrested and Jones says charges are pending.
No names have been released, and police aren’t providing details regarding the nature of the assault.
The investigation is continuing with the help of the RCMP’s Major Crimes Section out of Saskatoon and the Prince Albert RCMP’s forensic identification unit.
