RCMP Rule Out Foul Play In Death At Sweetgrass

A medical examination has determined that a man who died suddenly on the Sweetgrass First Nation this week was not the victim of foul play.

The RCMP say there was a fire in the laundry room of a reserve residence where they found the man Wednesday night.

However, they say it was small and was put out before they got there.

It’s not known if the fire contributed to the man’s death.

The victim died while being rushed to hospital.

His name won’t be made public.
