The Truth and Reconciliation Commission is looking for residential school survivors to sit on an advisory committee for the next five years.
Commissioner Claudette Dumont-Smith says people from Aboriginal organizations or who are familiar with residential schools are also welcome.
Dumont-Smith says the committee will be responsible for ensuring the voices of survivors are heard and in establishing who makes up the community of survivors.
About 10 people will be on the committee and will be expected to meet 20 to 25 days a year.
Dumont-Smith hopes many people from Saskatchewan apply since so many survivors are from this province.
Anyone interested in applying should phone 1-866-585-6942, since the deadline is next Friday.
