Seven people from Pinehouse were hospitalized following a single-vehicle rollover north of Christopher Lake late Friday afternoon.

The RCMP says they were occupants of a southbound pickup truck that was attempting to pass a slow-moving vehicle on Highway 2, just north of the Highway 263 junction.

The Mounties say the vehicle lost control and ended up in the ditch on the opposite side of the road.

Two of the vehicle’s occupants were ejected, and all seven were taken to hospital in Saskatoon and Prince Albert with undetermined injuries.

The RCMP says road conditions were icy at the time of the accident, which is still under investigation.
