Shooting Suspect Makes First Court Appearance

A bail report has been ordered for a woman who appeared in a La Ronge courtroom yesterday, charged with attempted murder.

39-year old Caroline Beatty is accused of shooting a 48-year-old man last Friday in Deschambault Lake.

The incident sent the man to hospital in Saskatoon, where he is said to be recovering.

Beatty is due to appear again in court on November 21st.
