SNTC Welcomes New Artistic Director

The Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company has a new artistic director.

Alanis King isn’t a stranger to the Prairies — she went to high school in Saskatoon.

King is originally from the Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve in Ontario.

She says she hopes to do some performances with Saskatchewan themes, because she is fascinated with some of the stories from the province’s history.

King adds there is a lot of talent in the province, and she hopes to continue to showcase it through the SNTC.
