Teen Found Dead Outside Reserve Home

A 14-year-old girl has been found dead on the Moosomin First Nation.

The Mounties say she was discovered outside a reserve residence, and she was not properly dressed for winter weather conditions.

Her body was found at around 2:00 yesterday afternoon, but the RCMP believe she died sometime between midnight and noon that day.

The Mounties say the cause of death has not been determined.

An autopsy will be held on Friday.

The RCMP’s Major Crimes Section in Saskatoon has been called in to help investigate.
