The organizer of this year’s Metis Fall Festival in Prince Albert says he’s confident of another good turnout.
Kevin Souter says a lot of work has been done already to prepare for the three-day event, which kicks off September 15th.
The festival features all the diversions of a traditional Metis gathering including jigging, square dancing and craft tables.
Souter says the event is often the only time Metis from other provinces see one another.
He expects as many as 3,000 people to flow through the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre by the time the festival wraps up.
