Tourism CEO Urges Outfitters To Treat Clients Well

The head of Tourism Saskatchewan is urging hunting and fishing camps to deliver on what they promise to clients.
CEO Lynda Haverstock says this point was hammered home during a recent encounter she had at the Saskatoon airport with out-of-province hunters who had just wrapped up a trip to Saskatchewan.
According to Haverstock, they described a miserable experience and vowed they would never come back.
She says there’s nothing outfitters can do about the impact the rising loonie is having on their operations — but ensuring clients have a great experience is achievable.
Haverstock says outfitters need to be very specific when they advertise their camps.
