Transwest Santa Sleigh Tour Deemed A Success

Hundreds of boys and girls in the Far North received an early visit from Santa Claus yesterday.

Transwest Air staged its 6th Annual Santa Sleigh Tour, which had stops in Wollaston, Stony Rapids, Black Lake and Fond du Lac.

Erna Mercredi brought both her son and daughter to the event in Fond du Lac. She says the day is something she and others circle on their calendars weeks in advance.

Mercredi says the event shows her that Transwest Air does care about the communities it serves.
