Wait For New Beauval Clinic Continues

Doctors in Beauval will have to continue running their health clinic out of rented quarters for at least another year.
The provincial budget doesn’t contain any money for a new health clinic there.
Keewatin Yatthe Regional Health Authority CEO Richard Petit says the health region has been pushing for a new clinic in Beauval for years.
Staff are currently working out of rented facilities.
Although there is no money for a new clinic, the province has helped the region cope by providing money to rent space.
Petit says he is grateful for that, but a new facility is still a high priority.
